In November of 2014 my little baby girl Anna suffered a back injury leaving her unable to use her back legs. This is one of the hardest things I've ever dealt with and I can only imagine what she was thinking or feeling. This is typical for dachshunds to have back issues, yet we always hope for the best. She slipped a disc in her back, and to this day I'm not sure what she did to do this being that I was not home. On December 1st 2014 I created a GoFundMe campaign and had a total of 33 people contribute which gave me the financial ability to give her the medical attention she needed. I created these dachshund sculptures as a way to say thank you for helping me keep my dog. I am happy to say that after months of crate rest and lots of therapy she is again running and playing like a happy dog. Below are a few pictures of my sweet girl and some videos of before and after. Thank you so very much to those who gave and the prayers I wouldn't have her without you.
