St. Francis Restoration Commission
Restoration of a St. Francis sculpture, it was sitting outside and the base and bottom of the figure had rotted out. As well as the hump on his back was also rotted out. New walnut base was made, and rotted areas were filled with resin and then stained and painted to blend in. The entire figure was then stained and to give it a uniform look, and then clear coated. We are unsure of who the original maker is.
